This second set of flashcards contains common multiple letter phonograms #27- #70 on beige and a set of more rare phonograms #71- #91 on green.  Because some phonograms use more than one letter to make a distinctive sound in English, all of these multiple letter phonograms need to be learned and mastered in order to spell words correctly. Since their effectiveness is dependent upon the specific manner in which each component is to be introduced, as a first time purchase, it must be a part of the Foundation Stones Teacher Package. When students begin to use these multiples in analysis, they will underline each multiple letter phonogram they identify with a single line indicating that all these letters work together to make one sound.
