From Book A for 2nd and 3rd Graders to Book F for 7th and 8th Graders, these six books with comprehension tests measure how well students actually understand what they read while simultaneously preparing students for those all important test taking skills. Six scantron sheets are provided in the Add-On. Each test contains a reading and 8 comprehension questions that follow. An answer key is used to correct these tests. There is a grade level equivalency provided for the particular score that is achieved. Each test is timed for three minutes. Each book contains 60 tests. The scantron sheets are used to record their answers. A younger student might only take 1 or 2 tests per session. An older student might take 3 or 4 tests per session. How many of these tests over time is determined by the teacher. After about a dozen tests an average comprehension score begins to emerge. Students love the challenge of each reading and can hardly wait for the next session.
