To the first 34 words, we will add the next 29 words from the Extended Ayres List. Using this minimal list, Reading Works Primer B steps up the reading challenge just a bit. Again, all the words used in Primer B have been introduced, analyzed and recorded. Multiple times these words have been tested. Students have practiced the spelling and writing and even the individual reading of these words. Now these words are put into meaningful sentences which they will understand. At first fluency will be developing and probably not as smooth as we would like, but fluency takes practice and that is what we are providing.
